I’m always busy working on illustrations for new picture book projects for various publishers, and also with some other side illustration projects for magazines and newspapers throughout the year… with one of my clients being INXart.com -an editorial art service that provides political opinion drawings to newspapers and magazines.
My illustration posted here is one I created back at the end of December 2020 for INXart.com. This digitally created illustration depicts the American flag with a swollen blackened eye, bandages, and limping forward on crutches barely leaving the challenging 2020 year behind with dire hopes of a much better New Year -only to be further insulted by the insurrection events at the Capitol Building in Washington DC the first week of January 2021…
